Maynard discuses engine condition with
 Truman Sigler

Truman confirms that the engine was a tractor engine and explains how he will determine if the engine is in good condition for rebuilding

Two cracks were discovered during the engine rebuild. A hole was drilled at the end of each crack and a pin was inserted to stop the crack. Using a cold weld process the crack was then closed.

Truman assured Maynard that the crack would not reopen.
